Kraven The Hunter Origin
According to the comics, Sergei Nikolayevich Kravinoff, aka Kraven the Hunter, was born and raised in Volgograd, Russia. He was born into an aristocratic family during the Russian Revolution in the early 20th century, which caused his family to lose their nobility status.
Later, Kravinoff discovered his talent for hunting when he began hunting as a profession in Kenya, Africa. Although initially he hunted using the tools and weapons that hunters usually use, he soon developed a fondness for hunting animals with his bare hands.
He then met a voodoo shaman doctor named Calypso, who gave him an herbal potion that greatly enhanced his physical abilities, giving him supernatural abilities similar to those of a lion. After gaining these powers, Kravinoff transformed into "Kraven the Hunter" and became the world's greatest hunter. To fulfill his sense of nobility he followed the path of his father who was also a hunter.

According to the comics, the origin of Kraven the Hunter's powers tells us that he consumed an herbal potion made for him by Calypso. This caused him to undergo significant physical changes. This made him a superior creature compared to an ordinary human, giving him supernatural abilities similar to those of a lion and placing him at the top of the food chain.
However, in the upcoming film adaptation, Kraven the Hunter gets his powers after being attacked by a lion. As soon as the lion's blood mixes with Kravinoff's blood, a mutation occurs in his DNA. This mutation gives Kraven the Hunter his superhuman abilities, including a psychic connection with animals, allowing him to command and control them.
